Charles Welcome joined the Firm as an associate in 2022, and became Partner in 2024. Charles’ practice focuses on complex disputes between sophisticated parties, representing businesses in a wide range of commercial matters, including trade secrets, shareholder derivative, corporate governance, commercial contract, securities, bankruptcy, employment, franchise, and real estate actions. Charles litigates matters from investigation through appeal in federal and state courts as well as in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution forums, with a particular interest in international matters and cross-border disputes. After law school, Charles completed a public service fellowship at the United States Court of International Trade, and, immediately prior to joining the Firm, Charles served as a Law Clerk to Judge Claire R. Kelly of the United States Court of International Trade. During law school, Charles interned at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva.
