Lynne Uniman has decades of experience assisting clients in trial, appellate and ADR matters nationwide.  She also counsels clients in risk mitigation and on managing legal expense.  Lynne has litigated matters across a broad spectrum of substantive areas and industries, including antitrust, banking, bankruptcy, breach of contract, employment, class actions, contested corporate acquisitions and divestitures, franchise agreements, fine art, fraud, insurance, trademark, securities, professional malpractice, sports and entertainment, trusts and estates, tax and real estate.

In addition to her work as an advocate and advisor, Lynne has an active private ADR practice, serving as an arbitrator and mediator on various prestigious panels.  She also serves as a court-appointed mediator for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Southern District of New York where she was a member of the Mediator Advisory Committee, the Eastern District of New York, the Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court, and the New York Family Court.  She serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the National Futures Association.

Lynne is the recipient of numerous honors, including being named an Outstanding Woman in the Legal Profession by the New York County Lawyers Association (2017), one of the Top 50 Women New York Lawyers by Super Lawyers (2010-2016), Women Worth Watching in 2009Profiles in Diversity (October 2008), and a New York Super Lawyer in Business Litigation, Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters (published in Metro Magazine) (2007-2017).

A frequent commentator on litigation and ADR topics, Lynne is widely published and is an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School.  Prior to joining ABV, she served as Chair of the Litigation Department and Managing Partner of the New York office of Andrews Kurth Kenyon.  Lynne is an original member of Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund for Gender Equality.
